Attendees will be presented with common accommodations and modifications of Ray-Pec students and will be guided through how the implication of these components of a students' IEP (or 504)  will strengthen the innovation, differentiation, engagement, and effectiveness of their regular education instruction. Attendees should leave understanding that accommodations/modifications can be a blueprint for crafting quality and engaging lessons for ALL learners.

As we work towards the Kauffman Foundation goal of 100% of all students in the Kansas City area earning a Market Value Asset by 2030, a question arises for many:  what about our special education students?  The presenter will share her story of how special education transition students fully integrated into real world learning through Client Connected Project work with regular education counterparts and exceeded everyone's expectations, including her own.
